Did you know that Cleaning Carpets via HOT WATER EXTRACTION (Steam cleaning) is the ONLY effective way to Clean Carpet? Clean carpet is carpet that has been sanitized at temperatures above 200 degrees, that is left Chemical Free, Pet Stain Free, Pet Hair Free, Pet Dandruff Free and Odor Free.
The application of Dry Chemicals or shampoo does not remove Soil, Allergens, Germs or odor causing Bacteria that has settled into your carpet. The machinery used to apply the chemicals actually forces the dirt, bacteria and contaminants deeper into the carpet. Your carpet may appear cleaner, brighter on the surface but if you were to separate the fibers and look deep down, YOU WOULD BE APPALLED!
Eventually you will have to extract all of the chemicals and COMPACTED particles from the carpeting or have the carpet replaced. Close to 95% of carpet Manufactures recommend HOT WATER EXTRACTION for Cleaning, Restoring and Maintaining Carpet. We VAPORIZE the contaminants; killing the bacteria, then we extract it all from deep down with your carpet.
Ever wake up sneezing or congested ?
Since most people take off their shoes, or the shoes are pretty clean by the time they get to the master bedroom, the carpet is rarely as soiled LOOKING as the carpet in say... the family room or hall and stairs. Also people usually do not eat and drink in the bedroom, so those spills and stains are rarely a concern.
However, ever noticed that the master bedroom tends to have a stale musky odor that is unique to that room. Since most of us spend as much as 40% of every 24 hour day in that room, you have more biological soils in the carpet and bedding. Body oils, perspiration, pheromones, dead skin, hair, respiration, moisture from shower areas, particles from sneezing and coughing, and even odors related to the bathroom areas contribute to air that is not very fresh. Of course this air goes into the carpets, window treatments, bedding and furnishings. Not to mention the various sprays, lotions and potions we use for grooming and skin care that end up in the carpet.
Often times our clients leave the bedrooms off of the cleaning list, opting instead for the more public areas of the house. Also if they do get the master bedroom cleaned some people leave off the walk-in closet, which may be one of the most contaminated carpets in the house.
Finally, it is a well known fact that the bedroom contains the highest concentration of dustmites and their unhealthy waste of any room in the home. It is no coincidence that many people go to bed breathing easy, but wake up congested and sneezy.
For these reasons, the carpet in the bedrooms needs to be cleaned at least as often as the carpet in the rest of the home. The problem is that most people cannot smell or detect their own biological olfactory by-products, to put it delicately. Therefore they cannot be expected to recognize the need to clean the contamination out more often.
Based on these facts, there is a need to clean not only for appearance, but also to breathe easier, sleep better, and wake up more refreshed.
This is why we clean the mattresses, upholstered furniture, window treatments, and any other textiles that may be contributing to poor air quality.
